Our wraparound provision offers children a safe, welcoming and relaxed environment before and after the school day. Children are cared for by familiar members of staff and have opportunities to eat, play, take part in activities or simply relax.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is run by Mrs Dawn Easley and Mr Jeremy Gorham.

Children can choose from a selection of cereals and toast, with fruit juice available to drink. Breakfast Club provides a calm and friendly start to the school day, giving children time to eat, talk and prepare for the day ahead.

Children should arrive by 8.15am at the latest to ensure that they have enough time to eat their breakfast before the school day begins.

Breakfast Club runs Monday to Friday from 7.40am until 8.40am and costs £2.50 per child, per day.

Wraparound After School Club
Our After School Wraparound Club runs from the end of the school day until 5.45pm.

Families can choose from the following sessions:
3.20pm–5.45pm: £7.50
3.20pm–4.30pm: £4

Children staying for the full session are offered a range of light meals and snacks, which may include:
• soup
• paninis, sandwiches and wraps with a variety of fillings
• beans or spaghetti on toast
• cheesy chips

Water and squash are always available for children to help themselves.

Children can choose from a wide range of activities, including knitting, crochet, sewing, card making, pottery and other crafts. Colouring, books, Lego, a dolls’ house, a play kitchen and a selection of games are also available each day.
Other activities may include den building, cooking and occasional film nights. Only age-appropriate films are shown. During cooking activities, children may make their own pitta pizzas, cookies or cakes.
Children also have the opportunity to use the iPads once a week, with the day varied so that everyone has a chance to take part over the course of a term.
We understand that children may be tired after a busy day at school. Sofas and beanbags are available for those who would like some quiet time to relax and unwind before joining in with activities.
When the weather is suitable, children can play outside on the school field or in the MUGA.

Children are welcome to bring homework or school projects with them. Staff can offer encouragement and a guiding hand where needed.

Free School Clubs
Our school clubs are free of charge and are separate from our paid Wraparound Care provision. Places may be limited and regular attendance is expected. Children must be collected promptly at the stated finishing time.

Clubs vary from term to term and may include sports, music, creative activities, games and other areas of interest. Details of the clubs available, including days and collection times, will be shared with parents before each new programme begins. Throughout the year, we offer a range of free enrichment clubs for pupils.

These clubs provide children with opportunities to try new activities, develop their interests and enjoy spending time with others beyond the school day.

Please see some previous terms clubs below.
