Ofsted is a government organisation that stands for The Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It reports directly to Parliament and is both independent and impartial. By law, it must inspect schools with the aim of providing information to parents, to promote improvement and to hold schools accountable.

SIAMS
All Church schools have a SIAMS (National Society Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection following their Ofsted inspection. SIAMS inspects Religious Education provision, collective worship and effectiveness as a church school.
